The project has seen Miles 33 roll out the DAM component of their GN4 Editorial Content Management suite of products. 16859 ppi systems for Germany, Kenya W On the first day of the Expo (7 October) the managing directors of Germany’s Westfalen-Blatt signed a letter of intent with Hamburg-based ppi Media for new solutions for its newspaper planning, page production, classified pagination and ad production workflows. The move is part of the publisher’s efforts to modernise and reorganise Westfalen-Blatt’s 27 local editions. At the heart of the new production workflow, PlanPag will be used for planning and production, including page assembly. It will also connect to the ad booking system – via AdMan – and to the editorial system using standard interfaces. 17002 W Also on the first day of the Expo, the Standard Group in Nairobi, Kenya, commissioned ppi Media to install a wide range of solutions for its planning, production, ad and editorial workflows.
